Anchored By Design was born along the shorelines of the Pacific Northwest. As former ship captains, my husband and I chose to raise our young family aboard a converted fishing boat. Reducing clutter was essential and functionality was at the heart of our home.
We embarked on a journey to create high quality reusable products that focused on premium usability and sturdy design. The products quickly became a welcomed part of our home – they were a joy to use and reduced our waste and clutter! Our products are perfect for small scale living, those who are looking to reduce their waste, and for everyone who discovers the enjoyability of using high quality reusable products.
Our family has moved from life on the sea to life on the farm. Our studio is now based on our 50-acre farm in southern Iowa. With land beneath our feet and the roof of a 100-year old farmhouse overhead, our products remain anchored in the same high quality design and premium usability principles.
